Italcanna desert storm rod
Officially presented at Vicenza 2018, the Desert Storm is based on a new very responsive blank with strong power increase, particularly developed for fishing with braid (although also suitable for monofilament). In fact, this shaft in the first 20-30 cm optimally makes up for the less elasticity of braids by exponentially decreasing the risk of line breakage due to sudden and rapid escapes that not even the best friction could compensate for due also to the inevitable mass of the spool. This shaft is therefore thin and light, in the two power ratings of 30 and 50 lbs for which it was specifically calibrated. Made partially of high-strength carbon and an innovative zero-memory fiber, it now represents the best possible compromise between power and elasticity in the “right” places. This blank has then been optimally complemented for the “DESERT STORM” with a new ergonomic two-tone washable handle, and a new lightweight handle with a special coloring that stands out and goes excellently with both gold and silver reels but also with colored ones in general. This way you won’t have to worry about what color your next reel will be…. The shaft of the basic model is therefore elegantly presented with a particular and original sand color as the name of the rest recalls, however to make this model even more innovative, Italcanna first ever, makes this model (on request) also in the variegated background colors WATER and FIRE… We cannot assure you of victories, which will depend for good reason on your commitment and a bit of luck, but certainly if you find yourself competing with a Desert Storm you will know that you are up against a well fearsome piece of equipment…
