Italcanna exilis spinning fishing rod

The Exilis is a 6’6″, light, one-piece rod specifically designed and created for light bass spinning. In all those situations where sensitivity, small bait size, and thin threads can make a difference the Exilis will prove to be the ideal tool. The blank, made of high-modulus carbon, which is very sensitive, allows the angler to perceive even the most insidious bites and, thanks to the change in taper, has a good reserve of power in the lower part of the shaft that allows you to be right even with respectable prey. The handling of artificials, as long as they are within range, is excellent: the great sensitivity of the Exilis makes it possible to feel the smallest vibrations of silicons, even when baited unleaded. Equally direct contact will be made with all the small hardbaits that are commonly used in light bass spinning: lipless, jerk, minnows and small topwaters will be animated excellently by the snappy tip of this rod. The components are first-rate in the Italcanna tradition. The reel seat is a Fuji screw-in one. The ringing is strictly Fuji S.I.C. K-series anti-tangle. The handle is made of Eva, a very light material that provides a secure and comfortable grip even in rainy and cold conditions. The rear-grip is divided into 2 parts (split) to reduce even more the weight of the Exilis, which already makes lightness one of its winning weapons.
